Course Outline
Sensors play a critical role in all automotive electronic control systems. The number of sensors used today is continuously increasing, especially in non-traditional applications such as common rail diesel vehicles.
This course is designed for all technician levels and as well as on-vehicle testing, trainees will work through various in-classroom simulations and practical exercises in order to gain a thorough understanding of sensor operating principles.
The training will focus on common automotive sensors and various testing options will be explored with emphasis being placed on the
oscilloscope.
Learning Outcomes
Trainees will be able to accurately, efficiently and confidently test and diagnose the various sensors discussed by having gained a firm understanding of the underlying theory behind their operation.
